Practice Manager
Karen Turner manages the day-to-day running of the practice. If you have any
questions or need advice, please telephone her on her direct line 028 9056 3348.
Reception Staff
Glynis Kane, Roberta McGurk and Jennifer Turner are your first point of contact
with the practice and will offer you every help and assistance. They do a difficult
and busy job. Please help them by giving clear details of your request. The information
taken is in complete confidence.
Practice Nurse
Pamela Marcus
The practice nurse provides a wide range of services. Patients are
seen by appointment. Nurse clinics are: asthma, diabetes, hypertension, general
health issues, smoking cessation, weight reduction, cervical smear, flu vaccination,
COPD and travel clinics.
District Nurses
The community nurses here at The Arches Treatment and Care Centre provide district
nursing for the housebound and those in need of nursing attention.
Health Visitor
A health visitor is attached at the practice. The health visitor visits all families
with children under five years of age. The health visitor is available at the
practice baby clinics and antenatal clinics to give health advice on matters
relating to family and child health.
